Position Purpose
The purpose of the role is to maintain, monitor and analyse project financials throughout the project lifecycle.
This role creates financial reports that track the financial progress of projects, in order to assist project managers in effective management of all WUC Capital Projects.
The role is responsible for the project billing process, including responding to contractor inquiries, verifying chargeable time, in accordance with the established accounting standards and billing policy.

Outputs and Measures
- Capex and Projects efficiency (projects within budget and on time)
- Timeous project budget, Actual/Plan variance report
- Proactive financial “risk-identifying” reports
- Compliance with financial standards, statutory regulations and procedures
- Customer and Stakeholder satisfaction
Academic Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or AAT
- Certification: Professional Full Qualification CIMA, ACCA, BICA, CPA or CFA
- 5 years’ technical experience in finance, processing of accounts in a similar sized organization in a computerized accounting environment, with progressively increased responsibility
- A valid driver’s license

Remuneration
Salary : An attractive Salary Package Commensurate to the market
Leave : 30 working days per annum
Gratuity : 25% gratuity payment at the end of contract
