Consumers’ Role in the Takeover Process
The Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) is a Parastatal Organisation and therefore there is a variation between the way it operates and the way the Department of Water affairs and District Councils operate. All WUC customers are required to sign a water supply agreement with the Corporation. This therefore means that all customers that will be taken over will be expected to sign this agreement as a matter of urgency.
